More often than not our athletic endeavours of achieving our high performance success , goal or dream will need us to be fearless in our pursuit of our own path. Not travelled down before with little certainty of success in the world of sport - talent doesn't guarantee anything at the highest level neither does hard work , it is a combination with a fundamental unwavering belief.
Trusting in ourselves and belief in the process, with evidence of success and improvement being paramount to build foundations. Challenge your mind to enhance your perspective of your chosen sport. Study your passion-develop your own ideas.
Be prepared to be challenged , physically and mentally .Don't be closed off to other peoples ideas and paths of success to adopt as a template to build on for yourself . Always listen and challenge your own way of thinking , try everything , steps backwards are not failure- don't be afraid to get lost in your pursuit , as long as you turn around when needed to ask for help.
The journey of becoming is ugly, embrace it , love it , don't try fight against it , let struggle be your friend and you will have an edge for achievement and success few are brave enough to adopt.
Expect others to commit like you, don't apologise for being relentlessly obsessed -even if you have to change who surrounds you.
